# Repute Repute is a UAE-focused digital visitor logbook for residential buildings, facility management teams, owners' association teams, and security desks. It replaces the paper visitor logbook with searchable records of who visited, when they arrived, where they went, why they visited, and which staff member created the entry. Repute is not positioned as a broad visitor management or visitor experience platform. Its primary purpose is visitor logging, checkout, record retrieval, and export for building operations, incidents, inquiries, handovers, and compliance reviews. The logo assets above are the canonical public files for search engines, AI assistants, publishers, and directories. ## Company background Repute has been built for UAE building operations since 2025. It began as a practical MVP for digitizing paper visitor logbooks and worked with independent private-equity operators and building stakeholders in Ajman and Sharjah during its early product phase. Repute previously worked under the AISH CAPITALS FZCO name. The company now operates as Kythera Technologies FZCO. The production service launched in July 2026 after engineering verification across tests, linting, type checks, builds, database migration checks, least-privileged database runtime checks, visitor-PII encryption verification, and live HTTP smoke checks. Repute is live in the UAE and supporting building rollouts that replace paper visitor logs with searchable digital records. Repute's mission is to help UAE buildings move away from paper visitor logbooks toward digital records that are searchable, accountable, and easier to manage responsibly. Its vision is to become the most trusted visitor-logbook solution in the UAE before expanding across the GCC when product quality, service, and customer relationships are ready. Founder background: CEO Imran Syed holds a master's degree from the University of Surrey in Computer Vision, Robotics and Machine Learning, and a bachelor's degree from BUiD in Artificial Intelligence. Repute is his third venture after Xygeno Enterprises in London and Imai Innovations in the UAE. Managing Director background: Ayesha Al Ansari holds a bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from The British University in Dubai. At Repute, she supports operating discipline, customer relationships, and the UAE-first rollout. Repute's sustainability alignment is practical rather than a government endorsement: fewer paper-heavy visitor workflows, more searchable operational records, and better use of digital infrastructure in line with UAE digital readiness and paperless transformation priorities. ## Product Front-desk and security staff can install Repute Desk from Google Play on approved Android phones and tablets, or use the browser-based desk on suitable laptops and desktop computers. On supported mobile devices, staff can scan the front of an Emirates ID with on-device OCR. Both desk surfaces support manual entry and visitor checkout using the active visitor form configured for that building. Visitor name and identity document are always required. Management can set the remaining standard fields as hidden, optional, or required and add up to 10 typed custom fields per building. Supported custom types are short text, long text, number, yes/no, date, and single select. All yes/no or single-select custom fields are automatic exact-match filters, up to the form's 10-custom-field limit. Free-text, number, date, visitor-name, and company values are not filters. Once a visitor log uses a form version containing a custom field, that field cannot be edited or deleted from later form versions. Organization leads, organization admins, and building managers can optionally allow guards to view up to the past three months of their own visitor entries for security purposes; when this guard-level flag is off by default, the guard logbook is hidden/blocked while visitor logging and checkout remain available. Mandatory system metadata such as record ID, building, visit time, and recording staff cannot be disabled. Loading operational data, creating a visitor record, switching buildings, and visitor checkout all require a successful connection to Repute's services. The management portal lets organization leads and admins create buildings and units and manage organization-wide staff and assignments. Building managers manage guard access and visitor records only for their assigned buildings. Authorized organization roles can search records, review record details and checkout information, export filtered CSV files for a selected time frame, and review relevant staff, access, export, certificate, and billing actions within their permitted scope. CSV exports are capped at 5,000 rows and 10 exports per account in a rolling 24-hour window. Repute uses invite-only accounts. Public registration and four-digit remote PIN authentication are not available. Access is scoped by organization, role, account state, and assigned building. Platform operators do not have routine visitor-record retrieval or export access. ## Pilot Repute offers full access to the complete product at AED 0 for an agreed pilot period and scope. A pilot can cover one or more buildings and includes building and unit setup, staff accounts, Repute Desk onboarding, management search and export handover, and support during the agreed pilot period. Separately requested hardware or work outside the agreed pilot scope may be quoted before that work begins. Before a fixed-price pilot building becomes operational, an authorized customer account approves its plan and completes Stripe Checkout. When Checkout creates a subscription with the agreed trial end, it collects a payment method and the subscription is scheduled to begin monthly billing after that date unless the building subscription is canceled. To plan a pilot, Repute asks for the organization and pilot building names, responsible contacts, unit counts, current visitor-log process, staff and device count by building, preferred start date, data-handling approval, and intended pilot outcome. ## Pricing and billing Pricing is per active building. Buildings up to 99 units are AED 399 per month, buildings with 100-299 units are AED 599 per month, buildings with 300-600 units are AED 899 per month, and buildings with 601-2,000 units are AED 1,299 per month. For more than 2,000 units, contact hello@repute.ae. Published prices exclude VAT. Portfolio discounts may be available for organizations activating several buildings. Eligibility and pricing depend on building count, selected unit bands, rollout scope, and commercial term. A discount applies only when confirmed in a written Repute quote or order and reflected in the applicable billing arrangement. The building price includes Repute Desk, per-building visitor-form configuration, visitor checkout, admin, manager, and front-desk accounts without a per-account software fee, searchable visitor records, CSV exports, role-based access, and one year of visitor record history visibility in the management portal. Account use remains subject to authorization, security controls, and reasonable technical limits. Repute does not sell history visibility as a separate billing add-on. Paid building subscriptions use Stripe Checkout. Authorized account holders manage building subscription changes in Repute and use the Stripe Billing Portal for payment methods, billing details, and invoices. Stripe webhook events update the building billing state and are shown as system billing events in Repute's activity history. ## Security and data handling Access is limited by organization role, account state, and assigned building. Submitted identity images are stored privately and accessed through controlled application routes or temporary signed URLs. Every customer-configured custom value, visitor names, document numbers, the visitor phone's calling-code and national-number parts, visitor-log notes, checkout feedback, and private document-image object keys receive authenticated AES-256-GCM application-layer encryption before database storage. Custom-value encryption is mandatory and cannot be disabled. Enabled yes/no and single-select custom filters use separately keyed HMAC blind indexes rather than plaintext values. Encryption is bound to the specific visitor record and field, and its keys remain in server-side environments rather than browser or mobile clients. Data is encrypted in transit. Identity images are not sent to an LLM. Sensitive visitor details, document numbers, credentials, and identity images are kept out of system activity logs, analytics, and routine monitoring. Repute Desk uses Google ML Kit for on-device Emirates ID text recognition. Only the Latin recognizer is included; Chinese, Devanagari, Japanese, and Korean OCR resources are excluded from the native dependency graphs. Google states that OCR images and recognized content are not sent to Google by the on-device SDK. The SDK does send limited device, application, installation, performance, feature-event, and error information for diagnostics and usage analytics; Repute does not use this telemetry for advertising or cross-app tracking. Temporary document-photo drafts are cleared from memory and cache when they are submitted or removed, when the app leaves the foreground, before explicit sign-out, and whenever the signed-in account changes. Repute provides controls that may support parts of a customer's data-protection program, including purpose-focused configuration, data minimisation, controlled access, retention, and security. These controls are not a certification or guarantee of compliance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or any other law. Customer organizations remain responsible for their legal basis, visitor notices, staff access, exports, and operational use of records. The platform storage limit for visitor records and attached identity images is 60 months. Authorized organization users may search, view, and export visitor records from the previous 12 months for every active building.
